The awards will have fan-involvement this year. The fans will be ON STAGE. Not everyone is thrilled about this. This is Peter Bergman’s comment, from the linked article:

“Just presenting, you could be accosted. Lucky me…it ends up being almost silliness. It’s not how I want to celebrate a career achievement.”

I know fans can be insane, but I doubt any of them are going to rush the stage. Still, I having the fans on the stage seems a bit much. Isn’t the insane screaming from the fans in the audience each year enough?
